Judas Iscariot was a follower of Jesus Christ who embraced the Jews. Christians who side with the Jews are traitors to Jesus Christ. This is a lesson for today.
The murders of Jesus Christ were the Jews.
That distinction is eternal.
Does this apply to succeeding generations?
“ . . . the Jews who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone.” 1 Thes 2:14-15
“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him.” Acts 7:51-52
Are God’s people the Jews? No. God’s people are called Christians, not Jews.
“You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen ones, and the Lord God will slay you. But My servants will be called by another name.” Isaiah 65:15
The Name of Jew is cursed. God’s servants are called Christians. (Acts 11:26)
Jews will bow at the feet of the Christians as God shows them whom He loves:
“I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.” Revelation 3:9
