Democracy is an illusion. Democracy claims hat common people make their laws and government. That is not true. Democracy simply makes a way for moneyed interests, government bureaucrats, universities, Hollywood, and the Press, to maintain power while deluding the common folk into thinking they have a say. Those interests tell the people how to vote. The voters obey.
