(This is in response to a reader who asked about Japheth and Shem)
Excellent question.
The nut of the matter is in Matthew 21, the Parable of the Two sons. Japheth is the Elder son, who is father to the Europeans. Shem was the second son, contrary to what the Jews would have us believe. The position is based upon Gen 11:10, where Shem only turned 100 years old two years after the flood, while we know from Gen 5:32 that Noah begat the three sons beginning 100 years before the flood (It took 100 years to build the ark). 
So there are two bloodlines, one from Shem, and one from Japeth. We can discard Ham from consideration.
I would say that the Lord first approached a son of Japheth for the Gospel and he refused. Abraham (a son of Shem, the second born) accepted. Later on, Abraham’s descendants refused to work in the Vineyard, but the Elder son (the descendants of Japheth) repented and took over the care of the Vineyard. This is very clear — it is the Europeans who became faithful in the Vineyard and took the Gospel to the ends of the Earth.
This lesson is told again in another way in the succeeding parable — the Parable of the Landowner (Matthew 21:33-46) . He had given the care of the Vineyard to an unfaithful people. He stripped the care of that vineyard from them and have it to a different ethnos (Matt 21:43).
The third parable travels in parallel with the previous two:those who were invited to the feast were not worthy. The king is enraged and sets their city (Jerusalem) on fire. Others are invited.
Jew
The tern “Jew” has been subject to much abuse. Those who call themselves “Jews” would have us believe that Moses and the Patriarch were Jews — nothing could be further from the truth. They never even would have heard that term. Hebrews, yes. But only the Patriarch Jacob would have even heard the term “Israel,” but never Jew.
A Jew could and still is pretty much anyone — see Esther 8:17. Note that Herod the Great — a Jew — was actually descended from Esau. “Jews” are the original “creedal” or “propositional” nation — a topic that Biden preached on in his “Red Speech,” where he said that “anyone” can become an “American.”
Biblically, a people/nation/ethnos can ONLY be of a bloodline.
I dismiss “Jew” as an overused and confusing term. I rely on Jesus Christ to clear it up: “those that call themselves Jews” are Satan’s synagogue. Do a search son converting to Judaism. Anyone can convert, the Sons of Ham, etc.
ISRAEL:
So what happened to “Israel,” that is the biological offspring of Jacob? The Ten Northern tribes (who were never ever called Jews) when into exile into Assyria, and from there they migrated into Europe — they went to live “among the nations.”
I am no expert on discerning which tribes became which European nations — I have little to offer there. Christogenea and many others have explored this. There are some fascinating YouTube videos on this as well. 
But I argue that the sons of Israel went to Europe for this simple reason— Europe converts to Jesus Christ. Europe becomes Christendom, which means the Kingdom of Christ. There in Europe, the sons of Israel “returned to the land” upon their (our?) conversion to Jesus Christ. This is based up Isaiah 66:7-8 and Hebrews 12:22. Upon turning to Christ, the promised to return to the Land is fulfilled.
Also, note that the Gospels and Epistles were written only to the Europeans — it is exclusively in the premier European language — Greek. Corey Mahler has argued ( convincingly) that Jesus Christ, when quoting Scriptures, relied upon the Greek/Septuagint version of the OT prophets. There is no Epistle written to a non-European place — zero. Even the general Epistles are written only in a European language and refer to European places and people.
Why? Because He came “only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”
It is also true that the House of God — the original Temple — could not have been built without the Europeans. Hiram was the son of a European man. (1 Kings 7:14) Without that European man, the temple could not have been built.
So, yes, the care of the vineyard goes to the sons of Japeth, amongst whom the Sons of Israel came to dwell. The Gospel specifically targets Europe for conversion — they become faithful with the Gospel. The exiled Sons of Israel convert to Jesus Christ in Europe.
