Best Reason to Doubt the Spinning Globe Model
If the earth was a globe spinning on its own axis and rotating around a fiery ball that in turn rotates around a galaxy that in turn speeds through infinite time and space, then why doesn’t the Bible say so?
It’s just one sentence, but it is missing.
A spinning moving globe in infinite space renders the “believer” in this model incapable of imagining any fixed direction or meaning. No up or down, no direction at all. Everything is relative and infinitely changing. This is the purpose of the illusion — to doubt the existence of any fixed order, law, judge, or creator.
Billions of years of infinite movement and the spontaneous emergence of “life” and ever more complex forms of life render belief in a Creator moot. It allows us to invert God: “we created God” to explain things when we were ignorant. Now that we are wise (as Eve became), we discard God as a mere placeholder. God becomes a fiction that we used for a period of time and discarded when became wise. When we read of the arrogance and blasphemy of the beast of Revelation 13, this is what it is talking about.
