Anonymity
Men write anonymously because they expect to be punished for their opinions. This says a lot about the society we live in. On the other hand, if a Christian speaks anonymously about the Gospel, it says a lot about that individual.
There were no anonymous Apostles or Prophets. There were secret believers in Christ who eventually had to go public. Some, like Joseph of Aramathea, we know about. Those who remain hidden for fear of punishment remain unknown among the host of heaven.
Joseph of Arimathea, who buried Jesus Christ, was one of the bravest men in the world. Joseph of Arimathea publicly announced his loyalty to Jesus Christ at the worst possible time — after Jesus Christ was dead and before He resurrected. He had nothing to gain put his personal honor, and everything to lose including his life and fortune.
It is a great honor to associate with Jesus Christ when it means social and economic pain. Don’t waste the opportunity.
