One tires of hearing about the everlasting mercy of God without the context of His anger, His wrath, His vengeance, His viciousness, and His Judgement.

• Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones
  and dashes them against the rock! Psalm 137:9
• Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. Psalm 19:24
• He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Genesis 7:23
• Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13-14
• And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Rev 20:5
• “I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled!” Luke 12:49 ESV
• And you shall eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you. The man who is the most tender and refined among you will begrudge food to his brother, to the wife he embraces,[and to the last of the children whom he has left, so that he will not give to any of them any of the flesh of his children whom he is eating, because he has nothing else left, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy shall distress you in all your towns. Judgment on individuals is on the Judgment Day. See Rev 20:5
