Civil War & World War

War becomes increasingly unpleasant for me to mention because it is scary  as it moves from the historical into a realm of closer proximity.   If you want to know what war looks like, look at some of the images from the war in Ukraine.  I talk about these wars because I sense them coming and I have been warning my own family about it since about 2015.  Who tells me war is coming? My gut.War is Ugly

Experts like Robert Pelton describe the gut as your subconscious arranging facts that you already have, in a logical manner, and presenting them to your conscious mind.

I have gobbled up anything to do with world affairs and wars since I was old enough to read US News & World Repost back in the 1970s. I have forgotten more than I remember.  But I do remember in late 2016 after studying Russia’s history in the Crimea, the US intervention in Russia’s  Civil War in 1917, and the four conflicts Russia experienced from the West in the last two hundred years, saying out loud in my office: “we are going to war with Russia.”

In 2015 I concluded we would have another civil conflict in the U.S.  Many publications, right and left, have written of a coming Civil War in the U.S., there are too many to list.

Events over the last year, domestically and internationally, unfortunately do no dissuade me from my assessments.

I’m far from alone in my pessimism.
Readers of this site need no introduction to Niall Fergusson.
Michael Yon is a long time war correspondent.

  • From Niall Fergusson: Seven Worst Case Scenarios from the War in Ukraine.
      • “How would you feel if you seriously thought World War III was approaching? “
  • From Michael Yon: Scent of Civil War.
      • “If you smell around enough, detach yourself from desired outcomes, you can take a good reading. United States feels like we are going into civil war.”

And from the CJCS: https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/05/politics/mark-milley-ukraine-reaction-international-conflict/index.html

Either will be a bad outcome for me personally: where I live is close to ground zero in a war with Russia, and my views have put me in the cross hairs of our local Anti-Fa militants with my face and home adorning one of their web sites.

In any civil war or global war, both sides rage and blame the other.
Does it matter?

It matters every bit as much as it matters who is a fault for the war in the Ukraine, the War Between the States, the War for Independence, and every other war mankind ever experienced. Readers of this site will come to their own opinions — opining on it is irrelevant at this point.

And I guess that sums up my thoughts — it is too late for reason.
And boy do I hope I’m wrong.
But Easter is coming soon —  love those around you.

You Will Own Nothing and You Will Be Happy (or Else!)

You Will Own Nothing and You Will Be Happy (or Else!)

You don’t have to like it or agree with it.It is the present reality —

Health Care: We don’t purchase health care, we subscribe to health care services. We are taxed (it is called “insurance”) and they provide some level of services, depending upon what they wish.

Home: You were never meant to own your home. Your purpose is to pay interest on your home for thirty years, then “trade up” in order to continue those payments.

Car: If you are fortunate to buy your car for cash, chances are you have no “right” to treat it as your own. Consider the “rules” for tinkering with the Tesla software, or the software of giant farm tractors. You don’t really own it. Just wait until they put a kill switch in every car on the road — you truly don’t own that car.

Phones: We all rent phones, essentially. Even if you buy a phone, you rent the service.

Computers and Software: Software has gone to a subscription service — I recently signed up for a software service to assist with grammatical corrections. I will never own it. Apple is moving in that direction.

Your Job: You don’t own your job. You offer a “subscription service” to your labor and when they are done with you, they cast aside you. Even your “pension” at this point is suspect.

Bank Account: Anyone who has supported the Canadian truckers knows they really don’t own their own money. It is their money and they will give it to you if they want to.

Land: Can you do what you want with land? Between zoning codes and environmental impact statements, the answer is no.  What happens if you stop paying taxes on your real estate? They take it from you. Many farmers have turned over their land to the government simply because they can no longer afford to pay taxes on land that does not generate enough revenue.

What else is left?

They can take your life and your belongings, but not your soul.
Honor is the only thing that follows you to the grave.

Live this way.
Everything else they have already taken.

Because We Submit to Moral Shaming We are Controlled

Because We Submit to Moral Shaming We are Controlled

We live in a Cult.
Professors are the prophets.
News personalities are the evangelists.
Universities are the cathedrals.

They control by shame:

You can’t think that — it is racist!
You can’t say that — it is xenophobic!
How dare you imply that — you are a Nazi!

Because we submit to moral shaming we are controlled.
We possess the keys to our own liberty — but we don’t use them.
We are ashamed of being shamed, fearful of their moral denigrations.

Illusions of liberty are false when we are unwilling to cast off the moral shaming of the Cult.

A Billion Buzzing Bees

A Billion Buzzing Bees

We are in a weak place, these days. The Anti-Christs have completely overrun our countries.  There is no place lower, culturally, than when we brazenly sexually destroy our children (from Biden to Disney to your local public schools).  There is no deeper evil than this.

What must we become?  A billion buzzing bees to drive them mad.
What happens next? I don’t know. But now is not the time to give up or remain the hidden person.  Joseph of Arimathea shed his anonymity — it was his moment to be counted.

World Government v. Christian Nations

World Government v. Christian Nations

This episode unites many of the themes I’ve spoken over the years.  It provides a reasonable good (but short) unscripted discussion of Christians Nations and makes the case that today’s “governments” have utterly lost the consent of the governed. There is no “neutral” way forward — it is either global dictatorship or Christian Nations.  We already live in countries ruled by the priestly caste (our bureaucrats).

Reflections on The Song of Deborah (and a Tribute to Alex Jones)

Reflections on The Song of Deborah (and a Tribute to Alex Jones)

(Or, Homeschool Mom Killls Enemy with Tent Spike!)

Only in this life can one show up for the battle.
Only in this life can we live by faith.

There was oppression in the Land, when Deborah, a mother showed up:

Jael Kills Sisera
Jael, homeschooling Mom and Housewife, kills Sisera.

The peasantry came to an end, they came to an end in Israel,
Until I, Deborah, arose,
Until I arose, a mother in Israel.
New gods were chosen;
Then war was in the gates.
Not a shield or a spear was seen
Among forty thousand in Israel.

There people were weak and wandering. They turned to other goda and were completely disarmed. The enemy had iron chariots — complete military overmatch. Yet people showed up for war when the call came:

The people of the Lord came down to me as warriors.
From Ephraim those whose root is in Amalek came down,
Following you, Benjamin, with your peoples;
From Machir commanders came down,
And from Zebulun those who wield the staff of office.
And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah;
As was Issachar, so was Barak;
Into the valley they rushed at his heels;

There were great searchings of the soul. Men weighed value of their own lives and made decisions. They left their wives and children and homes and businesses and farms and careers for a cause not likely to succeed.
