I feel like I’m in junior high school again listening to prissy girls whining about the boy who said bad words.
“Teacher, teacher, that boy said naughty words! I heard him! You need to get him!”
And the teacher has to satisfy their demands for punishment.
I’m the naughty-words boy. I say things that are “sexist, racist, homophobic, queerphobic, transphobic, intolerant, divisive, and anti-semitic.” The girls can’t believe someone like me exists. Their pony tails unravel, they stutter, their fancy shoes fall off. I’ve violated their high-minded moralities. “What is to be done!” they shriek.
Ugh. This generation owes an apology to the Puritans.
I was contacted by Foreignpolicy.com and asked to comment about an alleged letter that was allegedly send to the Secretary of State. Having no knowledge of this letter, I asked the reporter to send me a copy of it. Here goes:
“As Jewish employees of the Department of State . . . We welcome your statement that antisemitism often goes hand in hand with racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and other hatreds, and that none of these ideologies should have a home in our workplace.”
They call for me to be fired, and close as follows: “We know this issue is personally important to you. Your stepfather’s experience is instructive of the dangers of antisemitism . . . “

Bloodandfaith.com has always been my own views and no one would even remotely suspect they would be attached to any employer, associate, friend, or even enemy. I speak outside the narrow Overton Window that controls public discourse. As another news outlet reported: “POLITICO found no examples of Berggren identifying himself as a State Department official in his online commentary.” (BTW, who sent Blinken’s letter to Foreign Policy?)
Americans have to stop being afraid.
One can sense the delicate change of tide in the country. We are finding our voice again. From military officers to policemen, atheists to Neo-pagans, Christians to Jews, homosexuals, teachers, doctors, and moms, Blacks, Hispanics, Whites . . . we are sick of being told what we can say and can’t say.

I am heartened to know that I have Jewish readers — I truly hope that they, like Saul, come to know Jesus Christ as literally the Son of God. Saul, renamed Paul, converted and began preaching the message: Jesus is the Son of God!
If even one Jew or Gentile is converted then it is well worth the trouble.

Someone recommended I listen to a podcast by the “Bible Project” on the topic of evolution, and so I did.
The hosts of the Bible Project interviewed a credentialed scientist — a scholar with a PhD — who wrote a book that reconciled (in the Author’s mind) “science” and the “Bible,” specifically the part about Adam and Eve. Essentially, he argued, there is no conflict between “science,” which he presumes is the truth, and the Bible. And he succeeded demonstrating that it is entirely plausible that all humans on earth today had two common ancestors who the Bible calls Adam and Eve.
His approach had to do with DNA and genetics. They inserted the presupposition that after Adam and Eve left the garden, they inter-bred with other already existing humans and their (Adam and Eve’s) genes are present in all of us to some extent, even if in very small quantities.
Left at that, I think the scientist/guest succeeded in demonstrating his proposition — that two people (Adam and Eve) could possibly have provided the some genetic material to all current humans.
Bravo.
However, it seems to me that this approach created more problems than it solved. …

O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth!

It was just a really nice meme I found and thought I’d share its simple beauty with the world.
Our Lord is too often portrayed as pitiful and naked man, dying on the Cross.
But Jesus Christ is also a vengeful God: “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19.
Neither the Church nor the world fears Him any more.
The Church won’t talk about it because we are afraid of offending His enemies.
We believe He will forgive us, and we know His enemies will not forgive us.
Fear of the world cows Christians. And that makes us . . . . (two points for the correct answer).
Mostly, Christians yearn for peace with the world and will sacrifice anything to appease the seed of the serpent.
Yet, being inoffensive is not a Christian virtue.
