Taking the Name of the Lord in Vain (Exodus 20:7)

Taking the Name of the Lord in Vain (Exodus 20:7)

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
What is the Name of the Lord? It is Jesus Christ.
Do not take the Name of Jesus Christ in vain.
Do not falsely claim to be a Christian when you reject His Word, for Jesus Christ IS the Word of God.

The first chapter of Genesis describes, perfectly, the Creation:
The earth existed before the sun, the moon and the stars. (Gen 1:3-19).
Light and darkness, day and night, existed before the sun the moon and the stars.
The cosmology presented to you by the world is a lie — for Satan is the deceiver of the world.
The preacher must refute Satan’s lies actively.
Kinds reproduce only of their own kinds (Gen 1:24-25) — Evolution is a lie — Satan is the deceiver of the world.
Do not put your hand forth to support the world’s deceptions, rather actively refute them.

Do not claim to serve Jesus Christ when you reject His Word.
When the “Christian” rejects as Truth His very words, that man takes His Name in vain (Exodus 20:7)
This is not a demand for moral perfection (which Christ alone provides), it is a demand to be proud of Him and His Words; for the man who is ashamed of Him and His words, Christ will be ashamed of him when He shows up with His fathers holy angels (Luke 9:26)

The world (the Jews, the Pharisees, the Antichrist) would turn faith in Jesus Christ into a morality club they control. The Pharisees (Jews) of old were fabulous moralists who appeared outwardly as white-washed tombs — sepulchers of the dead but very pretty. They would turn the Church into the same lifeless tomb, with a form of godliness but denying the very Power — Jesus Christ — full of men ashamed of the Word of God who substitute loyalty toward His Word with the traditions and precepts of men such as “do not be racist or antisemitic!” (Matthew 15:1-9)

When Jesus Christ tells us that the Jews are the devil’s children, and Satan’s synagogue, and the seed of the Serpent, then He must be believed at His Word, and a Christian will proudly say what our King has said.

If you renounce His Word as “antisemitic” and still call yourself a Christian, then you are taking His Name in Vain.

If you renounce the Ten Commandments as the Law for all the world, then you take His Name in vain if you call yourself a Christian. For Jesus Christ declared (in Matthew 5:17-19) that the Commandment of God is forever.

The Jews are exactly antichrist – they murdered Him, yet He rose from the dead. The Jews attacked the truth of Jesus Christ, and the propagation of the Word of Jesus Christ, in the book of Acts. Nothing has changed. What they’ve done is gotten the Church to pretend to be Christians while at the same time renouncing His Word. See the Jerusalem Post. Thus, the Church has taken His Name in vain to the extent that our “traditions” and “precepts” (Matthew 15:1-9) have overwritten the Word of God. (Again see “Is the New Testament Antisemtic?” Post)

If you are a Preacher and you renounce, implicitly or explicitly, the Word of God you are better off renouncing Jesus Christ Himself, burning your pastoral apparel, giving away your Bible, and becoming a priest of Baal, than continuing to take the Name of Jesus Christ in vain.

Hell is your destiny, Preacher, if you are not proud of His every Word. Hell is your destiny if you are teaching the Flock — the Church of God — to renounce the order of Creation in Genesis 1 and his warnings about the Jews that fill the Holy Scriptures. (Gen 315, Matthew 3:7 , Matthew 12:34, Matthew 23:15, Matthew 23:33, John 8:44, 1 Thes 2:14-16, Rev 2:9, Rev 3:9).

This is not a “faith community” where we “follow our hearts.” A Christian man has sworn an oath of loyalty to Jesus Christ even unto death. Placating the antichrists by renouncing His Word is cowardice, and treason, and taking the Name of the Lord in vain.

The Kingdom of God is better off with five Preachers unashamed of the Word of God than ten million Pastors  who say only what the world has approved.
