But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me,” says Yahweh. 2 “Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness. 3 Therefore the showers have been withheld and there has been no latter rain; yet you have had a prostitute’s forehead and you refused to be ashamed.
Jeremiah 8:3. And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places to which I have driven them,” declares the Lord of Hosts.
Jeremiah 23: 39. Therefore behold, I will surely forget you and cast you away from My presence, along with the city which I gave you and your fathers. I will put an everlasting reproach on you and an everlasting humiliation which will not be forgotten.

Revelation 17: 1
“Come here and will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earthy committed acts of immorality and those on the earth made drunk with the wine of her immorality.”

The generational and racial covenant between God and his people did not end; those in Jesus Christ (who appeared to Moses at the burning bush) are the people of God. Oh that God would see the oppression of the sons and daughters of Christendom and revive us as in Ezekiel 37.
